absent-minded humming that lands like a leaf among crackling trees
the Wire

TRANSPARENT MUSIC

I play the theremin,

drawing sounds in the air

using fingers, body, water, radio, tiny elements

from silence and void, O beat, the pitch rises like the sun,

continuously grading

vibrating and pulsing

through the body of space

I inhale air and light

I exhale sound

sing, danse

across the field

tuning my voice into the electroacoustic one of my prepared instrument
